Vector data should be stored in postgres. Raster data should be stored as geotiff files.

  • ogr2ogr invocation to import from Shapefiles produced by the analysis (Shafi)
  • gdal_addo invocation to add overlays to geotiffs for better raster rendering performance
  • Need to review postgres setup to ensure appropriate indices are present. I think a spatial index will be all we need for this project.
