Caveat, this JEP seems to have recent activity, but we still do not see it officially proposed for 26.

So, getting an early start is a great idea, but nothing of this should yet be pushed to BETA_JAVA26.

Right. will not be pushed. The PR is flagged as draft - planning to remove that only [if and ] after its targeted

@stephan-herrmann as you hinted, looks like this may not make it to 26 given the (lack) of progress in state. JEP is still in submitted state. Will wait wait for a couple more weeks before I remove the milestone label.

Not in 26, but I just found this:

We're happy to report an implementation milestone: an updated EA release of Value Classes and Objects with all core functionality and optimizations implemented. We'll spend the next few months on stabilization and code review as we work towards a preview release in the JDK.
