Update error - last checked day was - TOMORROW???

Could anyone help me understand this one? When I look for system updates, the system tells me that the "last checked day was - tomorrow". How come the system is able to check for an update in a future day? I mean, I could figure out that my BIOS is reflecting an incorrect date (in other words, the BIOS date differs from the actual OS setting, which is correctly set for the present), and I know for a fact that this is a typical hacker attack method - this way they can force laptops to install their malicious code as if authenticate data released by the OS when clearly it is not the case - but even though I go back to BIOS, to correct date settings, it keeps getting reversed to the incorrect/future date. Does anyone now how could I undo the malicious update which was already pushed to my laptop?

The issue will be fixed in OS 9 thanks to tintou: elementary/granite#935
