Can't pull feeds from a certain source

I used to read Hacker News comments with elfeed, but recently I find that elfeed no longer get those feeds. The source is https://hnrss.org/bestcomments/, which I can access in my web browser, so I guess is not the server side problem?

When execute elfeed-search-fetch, I can only see [2026-05-19 10:31:44] [info]: Elfeed update: May 19 2026 10:31:44 CST in the *elfeed-log* buffer.

I suspected it might because of my network environment, but I can reproduce the issue in two different network environments.

I'll try this feed later. Do you see errors in the log? Can you increase the log level? Do you have problems with other feeds too? Can you reproduce this issue in a minimal setup or did you customize Elfeed specifically?

The feed https://hnrss.org/bestcomments seems to be empty when I open it in the browser. This does not seem to be an Elfeed problem?

Now it seems to be populated again, and the entries are fetched correctly in Elfeed. Closing.

Anyway, it seems the problem is caused by my misconfiguration I mentioned in another discussion. This is not an Elfeed issue.

@drcxd Yes, I saw that too. It was not populated for a while and then again. Generally hnrss seems highly unreliable. I often get errors during feed updates.
