At the end of the installation there's a checkbox that reads "View shortcuts in file explorer". I don't think we really need this, and currently it doesn't do anything but open "My Documents" which is confusing and useless.

Disabled this in 532d0c6 but I'm leaving the issue open.

The issue here was that this assumed some start menu icons were being installed, and tried to open the start menu folder--but since that folder doesn't exist it falls back to "My Documents" by default. We will later probably want to re-enable start menu icons and make the desktop icon optional.
