Is Emdash ready for being used in production?

I am planning to use Emdash in a production site but concerned regarding the stability of the software. I understand that there can be API breaking changes and I am fine with them, but I am concerned if future changes can result in such DB migrations which can cause data loss. Can I assume that no such DB migrations will be forced upon Emdash users which can result in data loss? If Emdash will not make such schema changes which can cause data loss, I think it is ready for production despite all open issues and bugs. What do you think?
