I added info on emoji shortcuts for Mac and PCs running windows. But we still need:

  • Info on how to change emoji skin tone on Windows
  • Info on how to access emoji keyboard (including skin tones) on Linux

Can someone on either of these platforms test and add notes?

I found out on windows you can only change the skin tones for the people emojis(Not the common smiley face or heart eyes for example). The people emojis are the emojis with more details(hair, glasses, hats, etc...) 🤴🏿. When you press Windows Key + period, you can click on the emoji tab at the top(Windows-emoji1.png) and then click on the people tab(Windows-emoji2.png) and you'll see a selection of different colored circles near the top. I added photos which I hope will help. Note: If this makes sense from an outside point of view I can make the change with or without the images and open a pull request.
