What did I do

Press return in edit subscription > topic

What happened

The dialog closed, but I got a newline or form-feed in the topic. The topic appears to have a space in the topic subscription list.

Expected

Just closing the dialog as newlines or form-feeds are not allowed in topics.

Environment

  • OS: Linux HOST 5.4.0-58-generic New Features #64-Ubuntu SMP Wed Dec 9 08:16:25 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

  • MQTTX version, e.g. v1.11.0

Thanks for reporting this!

This is a known issue and will be fixed in v1.12.0. For now, please avoid using the Enter key when editing topics.
