Linked Element.RevitSolid and it's tranforms.

If we get an Element.RevitSolid from Links, RevitSolids are non transformed. So, we have to convert them into slow DynamoSolids to apply Link's transforms for correct placement.
Maybe we can have transforms internally on the fly for Element.RevitSolid?

When we get Element.RevitSolid from linked file, which has been transofrmed and inserted with Shared coordinates, and try to get it's DynamoSolid, we have it without transform, at the wrong place. So we have to aplly transform to Element.RevitSolid by default in Orchid's code.

Well, this is a truth that needs some clarification. I don’t do something spectacular in this regard. My "luck" is that I stay inside Revit, whereas Dynamo transfer geometry back and forth between two different environments. The same can be said about Rhino and others.

I decided to make nodes using the geometry inside Revit because I experienced transfer issues between Revit and Dynamo, besides the enormous waste of processing and memory usage. On the negative side, I do not have the preview option inside dynamo, however, I have preview inside Revit to some extent.

Therefore, staying inside the same environment not transferring anything offers the advantages that whatever could be done in Revit will also be doable with my Revit geometry nodes, where Dynamo geometry nodes may fail.

I am trying to build more and more nodes using the Revit geometry, and if you feel something is missing or could be better, then provide me with descriptions and test files. If necessary, we can arrange for you to send me files via WeTransfer or comparable solutions :-)

I agree, the speed of RevitSolids is incredibly fast.
The scope of Orchid's tools is really huge, it's a must have package, thanks a lot!

While writing this, I am still using Revit 2024, but I am considering switching to the next version as my main version. So, either 2024 or 2025 would be equally good :-)

Is it something like this you need?

I am coding a new node for "nestedComponents" and want to test their solid geometry against other components. However, the casework front is a nested item in my casework family, and when I retrieve the geometry, it is placed according to where it was created (0,0,0). Therefore, I have created two new nodes that can move DynamoSolid and RevitSolid by a given point.
In my test, a beam is going right through the front, but not the handle. The beam is not converted into geometry :-)

I think that the casework component is one of the files in my sample collection.
I will check your files out asap, however, I am working on creating some new geometry nodes, so I will finish them first :-)
