Revit and Dynamo version
(Which version of Revit, Dynamo and Orchid are you using? Go to Help > About if you're not sure. for Orchid version, go to Packages > Manage Packages)
Revit: 2025.4.0.32
Dynamo: Core 3.3.0.6316
Orchid: 3.3.1.6862
What did you do?
We have had an issue with cloud models in Revit 2025 where whenever a Dynamo tool was run (regardless of if Orchid was present in the graph), getting permission to edit an element from the central model became incredibly slow. Evening just opening and closing the Dynamo editor creates the issue. We tested everything we could (removing add-ins, removing all packages except Orchid, etc.) to eliminate all other causes and it seems Orchid is the root of the issues. It only happens in Cloud shared models (Autodesk Docs). It does not happen on locally hosted central models. The issue is also limited to Revit 2025 but not 2023 or 2024 and we do not use 2026 yet. Any insight as to why this could be happening would be greatly helpful as I find myself primarily using Orchid nodes for my development.
This has been tested across a few different versions of Revit and on multiple machines and in different cloud models. The consistent fix is removing the Orchid package from the packages folder.

What did you see instead?
Clicking and dragging any element in a project (like a text box in a drafting view) takes 15-30 seconds to respond. After that initial action there are delays across the program and the only fix is closing and reopening Revit....
