About 32MB is being added to HA backup with this addon installed - it includes docker image. Not sure if this behavior is expected. That's a lot in my case considering without it size of the backup file is just 3MB.
Backup list before and after installing addon:
Here is another addon dev who resolved this issue and gives solution.
Simple workaround is to save options yaml and exclude addon from backup.
