Floating Window Extending Beyond Boundaries And Apps Launching in Split-Screen Mode Instead of Floating Windows #317

I have encountered several issues with the Taskbar app:

  1. Floating Window Extending Beyond Boundaries
In horizontal screen mode, when opening floating windows (phone size only) with the Taskbar app, the floating application sometimes extends beyond the navigation bar boundary. This makes it impossible to reposition the application, and the top part gets cut off, rendering some features inaccessible. To fix this, I need to rotate the screen 180° to reset the position.

  1. Apps Launching in Split-Screen Mode Instead of Floating Windows
When the "Always open apps in new window" feature is enabled, some apps, such as org.telegram.plus, are incorrectly launched in split-screen mode instead of as floating windows. Additionally, the feature no longer works as intended, as some floating windows fail to appear on the screen (only show 1 apps floating windows at the time), unlike how it worked previously.

Device details:

  • Android 13
  • Poco X3 GT
  • MIUI 13
  • Taskbar version 6.2.2
