Hi all,

I built a new plugin called Simple Calendar, focused on showing a clean and minimal monthly calendar optimized for e-paper displays

It highlights the current day and gives a quick visual overview of the month with a strong focus on readability

The plugin renders a simple monthly calendar with a large date focus and a clean visual structure, keeping it easy to read on e-paper displays

It also supports language selection, left or right layout positioning, and customizable colors for the main panel and current day highlight

Motivation

I wanted a much simpler calendar experience for InkyPi

The current calendar plugin is powerful, but it is built around calendar integrations, event data and additional configuration

For this plugin, the goal was different: just show a clean, elegant and readable monthly calendar on the display with almost no setup required
