Hi all,

I built a new plugin called Rain Today, focused on showing today's rain conditions in a clean and minimal layout optimized for e-paper displays

It is designed to quickly show the most relevant rain information for the current day, keeping the setup simple and the interface easy to read

Details

The plugin displays today's rain conditions in a focused visual layout designed for e-paper screens

It shows the location name, current temperature, rain condition, chance percentage, humidity and precipitation rate, while keeping the interface lightweight and easy to read. It supports language selection, quick city presets or manual coordinates, Open-Meteo as provider, and unit selection for temperature and precipitation

Motivation

I wanted a simple rain widget for InkyPi focused only on today's rain

The goal was to create something faster and more focused than a full weather plugin, avoiding forecast clutter, unnecessary setup and API key requirements, while still showing the most useful rain information for the day
