Witcher Wheel of the Year — elven calendar with seasons, months & holidays

Hi everyone! 🌳

I built Witcher Wheel of the Year — an InkyPi plugin that renders an elven-style calendar wheel from Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher universe on an 800×480 e-ink display.

What's on the wheel

• 8 elven holidays (Imbaelk, Birke, Belleteyn, Midaëte, Lammas, Velen, Saovine, Midinváerne) with their Celtic equivalents stacked underneath (Imbolc, Ostara, Beltaine, Litha, Lughnasadh, Mabon, Samhain, Yule)
• 4 seasons as a concentric ring (Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter)
• 12 months with abbreviated labels rotated tangentially
• Holiday dates around the outer rim (21 Mar, 1 May, …)
• Sun / moon markers (☀ / ☾) on the outer circle indicating solar vs. lunar holidays
• Today's-date arrow pointing into the current "savaed" (the elven word for season-period between holidays), and the current segment is highlighted

Side info panel

Last and next holiday — name, Celtic equivalent, date, description, ☀/☾ type, and days since / until ("dnes", "za 5 dní", "před 3 dny" — with proper Czech declension).

Bilingual + 2 themes

• Languages: Czech / English
• Themes: light / dark
• Font: Aniron (Pete Klassen) — bundled in the repo for the LOTR-style elven feel

Tech notes

Pure PIL rendering, no external services. Uses only fonts present on the Pi (freefont) plus the bundled Aniron. Auto-discovered by InkyPi on restart — drop the folder into ~/InkyPi/src/plugins/ and you're done.
