Bug: Clicking a tab crashes files randomly

Description

Hello,

I use this app as a daily file browser, but clicking tabs and navigating in folders is frustrating because of the frequent crashes. I use the preview version, because it has the newest fixes, but it is not much stable than the release version.

I don't have the preview pane open, but some of the folders have the large icon option, because they contain (average 4 photos) and .psd files.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Use the app
2. Random crash when switching tabs or opening a folder

Thanks for the report, The log doesn't show any errors, can you type Event Viewer into the Windows start menu search > Click Windows logs > Click Application > Screenshot the first error (It will show Application Error under the source column and this symbol at the start) that have Files.exe shown on the first line > Send this on GitHub (Email attachments don't work)

It does not show any error from Files. Files was not responding for a few minutes so I killed it, probably that's why it does not show anything.

Details and grid layout. It crashes when switching from grid layout tab to details layout tab

Without an error or consistent reproduction steps it will be hard to fix.

I will let you know everytime it crashes and what I did. At least now I have where to send it.

I don't see anything in the log file. Does this only happen with psd files?

No, it happens anywhere, even when I open folder with Unreal Engine project in details layout.
