bug: Sluggish popover animations

Fivethree version:
[x] 0.9.x

Current behavior:

Expected behavior:
The popover animation is supposed to be at least as smooth as the default ionic popover.

Steps to reproduce:
A simple installation of the package in a new ionic 5 project, then import the popover component into a page.
