What happened: Upgraded to 7.4.* - statusmap stopped working

What you expected to happen: kept on working :)

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible): It seems that 0.4.1 just doesn't understand the data coming back from the zabbix datasource in 7.4.* I can see in the query inspector that data is coming back - and it looks like the right data. But the statusmap widgets all remain blank. There are no exception indications - just blank.

It looks like I could copy-paste the query result - would that help?

Environment:

  • Grafana version: 7.4.3
  • flant-statusmap-panel version: 0.4.1
  • Data source type & version: alexanderzobnin-zabbix-app @ 4.1.3
  • OS Grafana is installed on: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS
  • User OS & Browser: Linux Mint, 86.0 (64-bit)
  • Grafana plugins: (there are many others)
  • Others:

It seems that the "alexanderzobnin-zabbix-app" datasource returns a "Table"-formatted data. Statusmap panel still supports only "timeseries"-formatted data. There is a plan to support "Data frames" and "Table"-formatted data. See #150.

Ah ok - so this can probably just be closed as a dupe - thanks.

@diafour do you have any sense of when you might be able to get to this?

@svdasein Sorry, I have no time for the plugin improvements until June.

@diafour if you need help testing this (data frames) I'm willing to put in quite a bit of time on it with you. We're basically holding on a grafana update b/c of this.
