Documentation issues related to Satellite1 #58

Description

@jimrkerry

In the About section:

Satellite1 is not mentioned.

In the Overview section:

Satellite1 is not mentioned.
Says "Set audio volume to 100%". On Satellite1, volume starts at 70%.

Under Usage:

Hardware: should "seperated" be "separate"?

Under Installation:

Using the "Raspberry Pi Imager tool", a note should be added that if using the "Customisation" (sic) part of the "Raspberry Pi Imager tool", the "User" must be set to "pi".

The latest version of the Raspberry Pi Imager tool is "imager_2.0.7". The line "Raspberry Pi Imager >=v2.5.0" I believe should be "Raspberry Pi Imager >= v2.0"

There is a "Windows" and "Linux" section and no "Mac" section. I used a Mac and downloaded and ran the Raspberry Pi Imager tool on the Mac. There is a way to run the Raspberry Pi Imager tool from the command line but I didn't use it.

More details need to be provided about using the "raspi-config" tool. If the customization in the Raspberry Pi Imager tool is not used to enable SSH and setup WiFi, then the only way I can think of to get to the board is using a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I don't see how this can be done with a HAT installed so the Pi would need to be run and setup without the HAT.

Under First start's:

Running "aplay -L" could also show "Satellite1" for the hardware.

Under Hardware - Satellite1
Under Base

You may want to mention that you will need to buy a Pi Zero 2 board with the pins already attached to use a HAT board. You can buy the Pi board with factory installed pins from authorized resellers, or use a hammer-in kit to install the pins on the board. There are probably a few adventurous souls that want to solder in the pins but I expect that most people won't.

The link to the Satellite1 HAT board points to the Future Proof Homes website main page.
The link for the Satellite1.1 HAT board is: https://futureproofhomes.net/products/satellite1-1-hat-board

The recommended Amazon Basics power supply did not work for me and I returned it. A better option is the Anker Nano Charger: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2MLRF93?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1

There are three options for the Satellite1 enclosure found here: https://docs.futureproofhomes.net/satellite1-squircle-enclosures
PiCompose documentation doesn't include the speaker for the small enclosure which is what I 3D-printed and use for a voice satellite.
That speaker is: CQRobot Speaker 3 Watt 4 Ohm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0822XCPT8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

The "OEM 3D Print Design" link is a 404
https://github.com/FutureProofHomes/Satellite1-Enclosures/tree/main/OEM%20Enclosures/Satellite1%20Smart%20Speaker%20Enclosure%20Kit

(Satellite1 changed to Satellite1.1) It is now:
https://github.com/FutureProofHomes/Satellite1-Enclosures/tree/main/OEM%20Enclosures/Satellite1.1%20Smart%20Speaker%20Enclosure%20Kit

Note: They are now shipping the Satellite1.1 HAT board. Don't know if that matters here. I am using the Satellite1.1 HAT board and it is working well. Future Proof Homes is changing some links from using Satellite1 to using Satellite1.1.
