Wordwise lets you select technical English in any macOS app and press
Option + Tto see a full Chinese translation plus context-aware explanations aligned to every word, number, and punctuation mark.It runs with Ollama locally or with your own OpenAI-compatible API key. The current beta is available from source. The signed and notarized installer is not ready yet, so I want to be explicit that trying it today requires Node.js 22.13+, Rust stable, and Xcode Command Line Tools.
I am looking for the first 15 macOS developers, researchers, and technical writers who read English technical material at least three days a week. The first seven days are free. On day seven, users who find it useful can choose a one-time CNY 39 Founder payment. Joining the waitlist requires no payment and does not guarantee admission.
