Description
When creating a new team under an Organizer Account, the Talk Permissions section currently provides two options:
- Can work with and change proposals
- Is a reviewer
The first option is misleading. Its label suggests a limited ability to edit proposals, but it actually provides significantly broader management permissions than a basic reviewer, including:
- Editing all proposal details
- Changing proposal states (accept/reject/waitlist)
- Managing submission metadata
- Overseeing key parts of the review workflow
- Performing actions well beyond standard reviewing
Suggested Improvement
- Reviewer — can only review submissions
- Reviewer Manager — can edit and manage submissions, change states, and oversee the review workflow (replaces “Can work with and change proposals”)
