Enhancement in Attendance Request for Entry Regularization

Dear ERP Team,

I hope you’re doing well.

Currently, the Attendance Request option in the ERP system allows employees to rectify their absence if they were wrongly marked as absent. However, we also need a mechanism to regularize attendance entries in cases where an employee was marked as present but with a late entry and wants to update their record.

An employee was present for the day but was marked as present with a late entry in the attendance record.

The employee wants to update their check-in time to reflect the actual time they were on duty.

Scenario:
Suppose I was present on 22nd February but was marked as late due to a late check-in. Now, as an employee, I want to regularize my attendance entry.

Proposed Solution:
1- I go to the Attendance Request module, click on Raise Request, and select "On Duty" for 22nd February.

2- I have added two custom fields for Check-in and Check-out Time within my shift hours.

3- Upon submitting this request, and once it gets approved, the system should:

• Could you update my attendance record with the check-in and check-out times I entered?

• Remove the previous "late entry/early entry" status and replace it with the updated check-in time.

Can you please confirm if this functionality can be implemented within the existing ERP framework, as it will be necessary for our payroll team to calculate the late and early counts per mount or if any customization is required? Your guidance on how we can achieve this through configuration or scripting would be highly appreciated.
