Bug: text randomly pasted from clipboard

Reproduction steps

1. Type on the keyboard by pressing the letters

Actual result

About 1-15 times a week, text that is in the clipboard is randomly pasted during typing. When I say typing, I really mean hitting the letters on the on screen keyboard with thumbs. No swipe typing.

Sometimes pasting happens when I tap on an autocorrect suggestion, but other times it is enough to just type.

I've seen it happen in Firefox, Signal, and Proton Lumo.

This has been going on for several months, but I couldn't find a reliable way to reproduce it.

Sometimes it happens more often. It happened 3 times in about 15 minutes just before I submitted this issue.

Expected result

No text is pasted randomly.

Is it possible you're accidentally hitting the paste button? It appears in the following cases

• In the suggestions bar when keyboard is opened after a copy, this can be turned off in clipboard settings
• By long pressing V, this can be turned off in long press key settings
• In the action bar depending on if you placed it, this can be changed in Edit Actions
• Holding the clipboard manager button will also trigger a paste
• And of course, opening the clipboard manager and tapping something will paste it

I do have the paste button visible above the number row, but I am definitely not hitting it by accident.

I haven't experienced phantom touches in other apps, so I doubt that it is the touchscreen in my phone either.

Try increasing the long press delay or disable quick actions from long press keys

I understand the reason for disabling the quick actions, but why increase the long press delay? I don't have pasting on long pressing V enabled.
