We demonstrate the MCP server using LLMs and appropriate questions for understanding target computing systems. A suite of test cases with questions should generate answers of the questions using LLMs and the MCP server. Through this, we understand the potential and limitations of using LLM/MCP in systems research.

The MCP server will use these metrics to provide information on the system status, workloads, power consumption, etc. An MCP client will also be developed to ensure the functionality of the server.
Overdue by 3 month(s)•Due by October 31, 2025A computing system running programs in Docker/Kubernetes exposes metrics regarding the system and applications running on the container engines. We use existing monitoring tools such as cadvisor, Prometheus, and Grafana to set up a system for metrics gathering. We will focus on developing scripts that automates deployment of the tools so that we can reproduce this on many computing systems. Detailed documentation is also the key to success.
