It cant be re-opened presumably your main branch changed, you can open a new one. Looking briefly at that PR though it needs to be updated to correctly use react hooks, using // eslint-disable-next-line react-hooks/rules-of-hooks would not be acceptable. I assume the issue is conditionally calling the hooks from the look of it, so that (at least) will need to be sorted.

@shamoon I'm trying to figure out how to re-architect this to fix the conditional hooks. Depending on which fields the user wants to display, there are 3 possible api calls that would be made. I can break the fields down into sub-components and call the apis individually, but then it'd call the same api multiple times if you use multiple fields that use that api.

I don't like the idea of just calling all 3 hooks every time regardless of whether the corresponding fields are visible in the widget, but that seems like the only architecturally pure way to accomplish this.

I know disabling eslint is gross, but It would only cause real issues when developing on this widget. When updating the config it does a whole page reload, so the data won't actually get corrupted.

Well, you can change the variables you send to useWidgetAPI to effectively not call an endpoint. But looking at it, I would probably just modify your widget to reduce the number of API calls. Regardless of the hooks issue, 3 calls for 1 widget isn't ideal (not like its going to crash peoples servers but in terms of trying to keep things tight as possible).
