Ping doesn't seem to work

Description

I'm trying to get the ping functionality working without success. If I specify ip or dns like this

ping: 192.168.51.24
or this
ping: birdsnest.home

I get http status undefined. No error logs in docker as far as I can tell

If I specify with protocol i instead get http 500

ping: http://birdsnest.home/

ping: http://birdsnest.home
or
ping: http://192.168.51.24

Note: the ping feature works by making an http HEAD request to the URL, and falls back to GETin case that fails.

Thank you! DNS doesnt seem to work but it works with the ip like this:

ping: http://192.168.51.231:8081/0/stream

Yea it’s not a true ping. And DNS will be a (your) network thing, your container will have to use the same (presumably local) DNS server to resolve that hostname example you gave. But, if you’re using docker though, you can use container names
