Sentry is not sending performance stats / traces from my node.js server and Cloud Functions fail

I am initializing sentry with:

 Sentry.init({
    debug: true,
    enabled: true,
    dsn: process.env.SENTRY_KEY,
    tracesSampleRate: parseFloat(process.env.SENTRY_TRACES_SAMPLE_RATE),
    integrations: [
      new Sentry.Integrations.Http({ tracing: true }),
      new Sentry.Integrations.Mongo({
        useMongoose: true, // Default: false
      }),
    ],
  });

node.js version: 16.17.0
@sentry/node version: 7.57.0

The Stats dashboard is populated with metrics but the Performance dashboard shows no data:

Is there anything wrong with the SDK version or my configuration?

Two questions:

• What are the debug messages showing?
• Do you have transaction quota left?

Thank you for your response. The performance unit quota is not exceeded

I can only see the following logs after setting debug: true :

If these are all your logs you don't have any instrumentation that is creating transactions. If this is an express app you need the express integration: https://docs.sentry.io/platforms/node/guides/express/

I updated my sentry init configuration as follows:

    enableTracing: true,
    dsn: process.env.SENTRY_KEY,
    tracesSampleRate: parseFloat(process.env.SENTRY_TRACES_SAMPLE_RATE),
    integrations: [
      new Sentry.Integrations.Http({ tracing: true }),
      new Sentry.Integrations.Mongo({
        useMongoose: true, // Default: false
      }),
      new Sentry.Integrations.Express({
      app: app,
      router: router,
      }),
    ],
  });

It still doesn't show any logs except the above.

After adding the middlewares and initializing Express integration at the right place i.e right after the Express app and router are created, I was able to get the Performance Dashboard populated:

hi, this middleware no longer seems to be supported. What other ways are there. I am facing the same performance metrics not coming up issues.

I also have another critical concern. While I upgrade sentry SDKs from:

    "@sentry/node": "6.1.0",
    "@sentry/serverless": "6.2.1",

to

    "@sentry/node": "^7.57.0",
    "@sentry/serverless": "^7.57.0",

as the former versions don't provide support for Express and Mongo DB integration, Terraform fails to update my Cloud Functions:

Error: Error while updating cloudfunction configuration: Error waiting for Updating CloudFunctions Function: Error code 5, message: Failed to retrieve function source code with google_cloudfunctions_function.function["function-name"] on functions.tf line 142, in resource "google_cloudfunctions_function" "function"

I have also tried the first version that came up with these integrations i.e

    "@sentry/node": "^7.45.0",
    "@sentry/serverless": "^7.45.0",

but still keep getting the same error. I'm not able to find any proper documentation in the changelog regarding the integrations introduction or version compatibility matrix that could help me out.

• The SDK has nothing to do with infrastructure (Terraform) so this is very likely an issue on your end.

Yes I did I added them before any other middlewares.
