Does Gitlens not support adding local folder as remote, only allowing URL/remote providers? I tried adding local .git folder using the plus button (Add Remote...) in Remote view (detached) in Source Control sidebar panel, by right clicking in Repositories > Remotes, or by using GitLens command palette. I also tried using "file://". It just shows error, for example:
'file:///Z:/xxx/xyz/.git' isn't a valid remote URL.
Just curious, because I can add local remote just fine using terminal or VS Code Built-in Command palette Git: Add Remote.

Is this a bug or a feature (intended by Gitlens)?
