Cards don't add in correct number

Whenever I add occlusions on the image, for example I hide 36 items which should give me 36 cards in total, only 20 actually get added to the deck. I don't see any error message, the cards are just inexistant, unless when I go into tools -> manage note types, then I see that there are 37 (?) notes using IOE, where there's supposed to be 36.
