(feat) wish list item - static parsing a DESIGN from website

Point the tool at a website, auto-extract a DESIGN.. Use it for style inspiration.

npx brandmd https://stripe.com renders the page in headless chromium, extracts the computed styles (palette, type scale, spacing, radii, shadows, buttons) and writes a DESIGN.md in the official format, yaml frontmatter plus the canonical sections. output passes npx @google/design.md lint at 0 errors / 0 warnings, enforced in ci.

it refuses to write anything from block pages, login walls or empty pages instead of guessing, and there are ~30 pre-generated examples in the repo (stripe, linear, vercel, github...) if you want to see the output shape first.

been building it since march, v0.14 moved it onto the official spec format. happy to answer anything.

thanks. it is npx brandmd <url>, nothing to install.

i tuned the heuristics by running it against 100 real sites and writing up everything it got wrong, so if you point it somewhere and the output looks off, open an issue with the url. lazy loaded css is usually the culprit.
