greedy-whitespace munching fwd/back delete - leave one space if there was more than 1. also cross line boundaries. check existing dwim el first? - http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/motion-and-kill-dwim.el
eval shell advice from http://snarfed.org/why_i_run_shells_inside_emacs
ediff replacement - stock can't quit properly - infinite macro loop when trying to restore windows?
is chord mode messing with my timing? i release control, then press backspace ... disabled for now. maybe it was key/backspace replaces region. i should probably disable that too.
i like isearch setting region, but when i do any movement or C-g out of search, it should restore old mark (or lack of one). i only have it set region so i can yank or mark-multiple
for isearch -> mark-more-like-this, would be nice if dabbrev had the match in its history. or else i should learn how to use isearch replace \1
flymake?
skip warnings and file-included-from in next-error like my old .emacs
speedup for gr-cleanup-save. immediately save before cleanup?
force enable autopair () for c++ in code; force-disable all in strings and comments
does recompile keep default-dir even if you're in another dir's buffer?
make ctrl-g exit isearch when minibuf not selected
ctrl-o disabled in compilation and grep results - why?
isearch+ seems to have annoying get-stuck-ignore ctrl-g outside of minibuffer behavior, where when i switch to minibuffer to ctrl-g, it restores-excursion to another buffer. did regular isearch do this? maybe it's my user of left-right arrow.
typing a balanced paren expr inside parens in C++ - autopair fail
autopair fallback c-electric-paren = nasty
next-error skip included-from! or compilation regexp skip it
isearch - all arrow keys should end isearch! very annoying
