Syntax errors

I'm fairly new to Python and github but the current program as a few syntax errors when used in the jupyter notebook. Also the example codes don't seem to be working.

This version is intended to be used from the command line in an automated get script. It also uses python 2.7.

Have you tried running it from the prompt?

I run the program from the command line in the IDLE and I just get the ""NOT ENOUGH COMMAND LINE PARAMETERS" message. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong at this point.
