Describe the feature you'd like

Similar to #172, but many "news" sites may not actually require login - just to be requested without javascript. Pulling through 12ft.io, removepaywall.com, or the wayback machine could also be an option...

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users

Providing an option to re-fetch the page using a different browser config (like without javascript as 12ft.io does) or with a mobile/desktop profile should yield better contents.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

For "failed" bookmarks, they can be deleted and then a re-added with a "http://12ft.io/" prefix. This makes some other metadata be off.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request
