Would it be possible to get it working on 32bit/Windows 98?

Thank you for making this, however I'm having trouble getting it to work on my Windows 98 (32bit) system. Would it be possible to get this working on there at all? I'm struggling with the far away camera bug even on the original hardware and disk. Its asking for DLLs that windows 98 simply doesn't have.

Working on this rn, cuz it's a neat idea. I just got it to work on my XP machine using an old compiler, but on Win98 it doesn't want to play ball yet...
