How do we install the PDF exporter plugin used by officecli view file.docx pdf?
Is there an official officecli-pdf binary/release asset?
Can it be redistributed/bundled with a desktop app?

Thanks for asking. To be transparent: OfficeCLI is maintained by one person right now, and my focus is on getting the core three formats right — .pptx / .docx / .xlsx. I don't have the bandwidth to build or ship a PDF exporter myself, so:

• There is no official officecli-pdf binary or release asset — nothing prebuilt to install or bundle today.
• officecli view file.docx pdf resolves an installed exporter plugin (file-in / file-out). With none registered it returns exporter_not_found and points you at officecli plugins list.

The export path is a documented plugin seam, not a stub, so you can build your own exporter (wrapping LibreOffice/OnlyOffice/etc.) against the protocol: plugins/plugin-protocol.md. The protocol also reserves return codes for commercial/licensed plugins, so redistributing/bundling your own exporter with a desktop app is supported.
