Images issue

Hello,

Thank you very much for awesome template which u made, but I've got the issue with loading images.

Is it possible to be fixed somehow? It's funny, because on the phone it works without any issues, but on in browser it crashes.

Where exactly you got problem? Your path looks like this : config/www/images/homio/icons ?
Check path inside file homio_menu_icon, homio_entity : inside this 2 files, my path looks like : /local/images/homio/icons/

Glad you managed to sort it. Home assistant likes to cache a lot and sometimes a hard reload of the browser will clear the cache and show images you may have recently uploaded or changed

Hi have you got the right folder structure setup? If you open the dev tools when on your dashboard and open up the console tab it should display some errors. If you screenshot them and send them over I can take a look where things are going wrong

Could be that inside files he need to make proper path, cause in some places there's written code like Homio, but he could make folder homio, so upper letter could be the problem, but I am not quite big professional, I went through all folder's and changed the path.
I've got one question, is it possible to make burger icon on the left side instead right? And make it like continuously instead of Homio. logo?

I believe I have the structure correct. I did change "Homio" to "homio" under images but it did not fix it.

If you have images in that images folder can you open the dev tools on your dashboard and go to the console tab. Just want to see what errors are showing on there.

As you can see the path appears to be correct for what the page is looking for. I did change "homio" back to "Homio" for the path to the images because it is what is looking for in the path.

But the "Main Lights" icon that should be lamp.svg is not showing.

Okay, that's greaet sign, as I found sometimes, to get effect on the template, you need to add/remove something in homio.yaml, which is main, so it will refresh the full page, but please if you are using google chrome, or any other browser, try to clean cookies, last 24 hrs, because other icons, are working properly as I can see

Clearing the cache/cookies did the trick in the browser. But my phone still does not see the images in the app. I have tried refreshing the page and that doesn't help. Thank you.

On your phone, go inside applications, find home assistant, storage, clean cache/cookies there, and you will get success :)

If you use google chrome the best way to do a hard cache clear is open the dev tools by hitting F12 with your dashboard open then once the dev tools are visible click and hold the refresh button in the web address bar and you will see an option to do a hard reload.

You will have to use this a lot when updating and changing images in home assistant as it always has issues with caching

What I have experienced with images at times is the need to just re-upload the image file to your HA directory. I have never figured out why they fail at times. Best Regards, David Bruner
