Describe the issue

I am trying to init project with next link:
gitlab:https://self-hosted-domain.ru/base-apps/base-app-frontend/webant-ui-kit
But receivies error:
There was an error fetching jsrepo-manifest.json from gitlab:https://self-hosted-domain.ru/base-apps/base-app-frontend/webant-ui-kit: 404 Not Found.

But my registry is correct, because I have tried publish package at public GitHub repository

So for starters https://self-hosted-domain.ru/base-apps/base-app-frontend/webant-ui-kit is invalid as a gitlab link.

Anytime you are hosting a registry in a git repository jsrepo-manifest.json is only valid in the repository root.

A valid gitlab url would look like https://<domain>/<owner>/<repo>.

Beyond this make sure that your auth token is correct.
