Unable to add alerting in Grafana #66
Comments
Bumping this, not sure why it's restricted. |
As far as I know, it is not supported yet, since it is a frontend plugin written in JavaScript. So to be able to have a Grafana Alerting with Instana, it's needed to rewrite the Plugin Code in Go and install the plugin as a backend plugin. On the other hand, I would suggest being aware of not putting too much load to the Instana Server, with frequent heavy "analyze calls" queries. I would be happy to contribute if there are any plans to start a Go-based Grafana plugin. |
Hello, it is added to our backlog, there is no ETA for this feature, though. We will provide you with an update as soon as it will be released. Thank you. |
@Dalje-et Please keep us posted as this functionality is required for us to setup various alerts we are looking into implementing. |
@Dalje-et any updates by any chance? |
Any updates on this? |
I am also looking to use Grafana for alerting with Instana. I think this feature would be helpful. |
@Dalje-et any updates? This would be super helpful 😄 |
@Dalje-et do you have an ETA yet? |
