IMX471 digital privacy on X9 out of sync with keyboard #422
Description
I have this module camera semi-working on nixos after much experimentation. However, I cannot for the life of me get it to stop the sensor without also resetting the privacy toggle in the driver. The keyboard led indicating privacy mode stays consistent, but the driver always starts up in privacy mode. My pipeline is a v4l loop back device set up on demand.
I am not 100% sure this is a bug, but I just cannot see how this is supposed to work. Is the privacy guard exposed to user land? Is the driver supposed to keep it in sync? Is the user land supposed to keep the driver engaged all the time and only enable/disable sensor?
I am sorry this is not a very good bug report, but it's a fundamental problem to getting a good integration on the X9 and there is very limited information on the topic.
