Description on how to update existing tab name

The plugin Description states

Besides these two features it also allows you to modify the actual tab and link names, without changing the source of the plugin, in the plugin settings.

But no steps are provided to rename existing project specific tab. No option found in plugin settings.
Steps to do the same will be helpful.

The plug-in is no longer maintained. If you'd like to add or update it you'd be most welcome.
