It’s kind of a pain to install and manage third-party Matlab packages. jl-pkgman
is here to make that easier. It is a package manager for Matlab libraries and code.
It’s inspired by pip, Mac Homebrew, Maven, and Octave’s pkg
tool.
WARNING: jl-pkgman is currently under early development. It is ALPHA quality software, and not ready for production use. Use at your own risk!
The project home is at https://github.com/apjanke/jl-pkgman.
jl-pkgman is part of the Janklab suite of libraries.
Business-friendly BSD 2-Clause License.
jl-pkgman is still in the early design and experimentation phase, so there’s not much to collaborate on, code-wise. What we need now are feature requests and use case descriptions; feel free to post those as Issues on the project GitHub page.
