Add a test installation to check the functionality

We need to check the functionality of the software even if we don't have a MySQL db installed or available.
An idea would be to hardcode the database as 'test' as a trigger to simulate the connection to a MySQL db. If this is detected, just some random information will be returned, making clear to the user that this is just a test, and NOT real information.
