This package, when installed, causes a conflict with the system xdot.
Right now, this makes smach a non-option for us because we have critical software elsewhere that relies on the system xdot.
The only way I know of resolving this is to put this python package under a different name and amend its usage in smach (don't know of anything else that uses it) above. Awkward, but better than leaving users with an unresolvable system conflict.
