Describe the bug

When the draw.io 30.3.6 Universal DMG is opened on macOS, internal DMG support files appear inside the main installer window.

The following files are visible above the draw.io application icon:

  • .background.tiff
  • .VolumeIcon.icns

These files appear dimmed because they are hidden files, but they still occupy visible positions inside the installer layout when Finder is configured to display hidden files.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Download the macOS Universal DMG for draw.io 30.3.6.
  2. Open the downloaded DMG.
  3. View the draw.io installation window.
  4. Observe that .background.tiff and .VolumeIcon.icns appear above the draw.io application and Applications folder.

Expected behavior

The installer window should display only the items required for installation:

  • draw.io.app
  • The drag-and-drop arrow
  • The Applications folder

Internal DMG resources such as .background.tiff and .VolumeIcon.icns should not occupy visible positions in the installer window, even when hidden files are displayed in Finder.

Screenshots

The attached screenshot shows .background.tiff and .VolumeIcon.icns appearing in the mounted DMG window above the application installation area.

draw.io version (In the Help->About menu of the draw.io editor):

  • draw.io version 30.3.6-universal

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: macOS
  • Package: macOS Universal DMG

Additional context

The application can still be dragged into the Applications folder and installed normally. This appears to be a DMG packaging or Finder layout issue rather than an application functionality issue.
