Yes it should its same concept really:

Drag phantom-platform onto the cmd console hit space and enter -server serverip:port

Ok so i have dug deep down this wifi stuff and i found something heartbreaking... My wifi doesnt support port forwarding as its a nat network if what i learned is correct. I have been doing everything correctly but i cant do anything if my isp wont support port forwarding....
