Add option for visual fades to the top and bottom of the prompter

Feature request:
Add an option/toggle for visual fades overlaying the text for a more aesthetically pleasing prompter.
Additionally: add options for the range of the fade
Additionally: add options to add top and bottom fade separately

This is a suggestion / feature request, but it seems I cannot add the label myself :)
