Version 5.x is still supported (as indicated by our security policy). It will not see major new features but we will backport important big fixes. |

Thanks, great to hear. Since it's specifically 5.14+, we are hitting mannodermaus/android-junit5#390, but hopefully they can fix it.

What's the maintenance status of Junit 5? is it EOL?

It also currently warns noisily when running the vintage tests #5030
If Junit 5 is EOL, then Android projects should probably just revert to Junit 4. Junit 5 doesn't run on Android 21-25 anyway.
