As of this release, GPT-5-Codex is the default model for all users upgrading to the latest version. If you still prefer GPT-5 for any specific reason, you can easily switch back using the /model command.

Full Auto mode with GPT-5-Codex is exceptionally powerful, but it also carries the risk of executing harmful commands.

Enter Command Guard:

• Automatically identifies and intercepts potentially risky operations (e.g., destructive git, rm, or find commands).
• Prompts the agent to carefully reconsider these actions, significantly reducing risk.
• Has proven its effectiveness by safeguarding us multiple times already.
