Shortcuts behaving strangely

Short Summary

I had my global shortcut for my menu set to the Meta key and this worked fine. When I opened System Settings > Shortcuts, Kando was registered under "Applications".

However, after, updating, I received a prompt from KDE to allow Kando to register a shortcut, which I did. The shortcut works, but is significantly slower than it was prior to the update, and is now registered in System Settings like so:

Kando also shows up in my taskbar with a Wayland icon now instead of the Kando icon whenever I activate the menu.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. Update Kando to v2.3.0
2. Register a shortcut in KDE popup
3. Enter the shortcut to open a Kando menu

Hi there! I just installed Kubuntu 26.04 in a VM and it looks just fine 🫤

Did you install the Flatpak version of Kando or from somewhere else?

The main difference is that Kando now runs natively under Wayland (and not via XWayland anymore). Could be, that the window now behaves differently (e.g. it's being affected differntly by KWins window animations etc.). You could try playing with window rules and see if that makes any difference.

Also binding to Meta works just fine. I also do not experience significant slowness, even in a VM.

I installed kando-bin from the AUR. I am also now having issues with the menu showing up far away from my cursor after activating the shortcut.
