By default it seems the weights and reps are copied from workout to workout.
This works great for programs that rely on linear progression, as I can simply bump the weight up by 5-10lbs each workout.
However, I like to schedule my workouts on week by week basis and are based on % of 1RM. For examples programs like 5/3/1, NSuns, and SBS programs all use percentages from a training max rather than a linear progression.
While obviously it would be a huge feature to implement different progression schemes, I think it would be simple to allow the user to program in their own weights session to session. Then they can use whatever formulas outside the app to calculate their progression.
Currently I get around this just by writing the weight I will use in the comments field.
